Schedule Overview
Participants may arrive on Thursday of the camp weekend anytime after 4 pm. Dinner will be served about 7 pm, and the camp will open with a brief welcome and performance following the meal. Departures should be planned for Sunday, following the final camp luncheon. There is also the option to come early and enjoy extra time on the Outer Banks: you may come Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday preceding the workshop, for $100/night per person, food not provided.

BYOB - Guests are invited to bring alcoholic beverages to suit their own taste.
Linens - Participants should bring their own sheets and towels. If you prefer, linens can be provided for a small fee.

Accommodations
Participants will be lodged in a luxury beach cottage located on the Outer Banks. Amenities include good food - and lots of it!- spacious meeting rooms for classes, decks, and the breathtaking sunrises and endless unspoiled beaches of the Outer Banks. Participants may choose to lodge in a private suite, to share a room with another musician, or to bring a non-participant guest who can enjoy the beach and local attractions. Transportation
By air: the nearest airport is Norfolk, VA, about an hour and a half's drive from the workshop site. Once registered, you will be given the exact address and driving directions.

Jens Lindemann is hailed as one of the most celebrated soloists in his instrument's history and was recently named "International Brass Personality of the Year" (Brass Herald). Jens has played in every major concert venue in the world. He career has ranged from performing internationally as an orchestral soloist with classical stars such as Sir Neville Marriner, Sir Angel Romero, Doc Severinsen, Charles Dutoit, Gerard Schwarz, and Eiji Oue; recording with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and playing lead trumpet with the renowned Canadian Brass. He has given a solo Command Performance for the Queen of England, has been nominated for Grammy and Juno awards, and won the prestigious Echo Klassik in Germany, as well as receiving an honorary doctorate. He has been praised by music critics from Fanfare Magazine, American Record Guide, Records International Catalog, and other international publications for his evocative interpretation, impeccable virtuosity, and beauty of sound. A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Rodney Mack has worked under the guidance of world-renowned conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Michael Tilson Thomas, Gerard Schwarz, James DePreist, and John Williams. He was awarded a fellowship at the Tanglewood Music Center where he was invited to return for a second summer during which he was awarded the Seiji Ozawa Award for Outstanding Musicianship. José Sibaja
José Sibaja is one of the most sought-after trumpeters in the recording industry. He is a native of Costa Rica and studied at the New World School of the Arts and at the University of Miami. As an orchestral player, Jose has held positions in the Miami Symphony, the Sinfonietta de Caracas and the Orquesta Sinfonica de Venezuela. José has been active in South Florida's Latin music scene and was a member of Ricky Martin's band for eight years. He has recorded with Celia Cruz, Elvis Crespo, and Franco de Vita. José has performed on the Grammy Awards, The American Music Awards, The MTV Music Awards, Total Request Live, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Saturday Night Live. He currently brings his artistry, humor & personality to the Boston Brass.
